Our favorite healthy chocolate ice cream

After years of trying, I've finally created a healthy "ice cream" recipe for my student. Here's the recipe.

Tosh's Healthy Ice Cream

Put in a blender:

  • 2 frozen bananas, broken into chunks
  • 2 TBS of nut butter
  • 2 capsules of Magnesium Citrate (helps with muscle cramps and sleep)
  • 1 scoop of powder of your choice. These days my student is eating good protein, so we're using Beam's cinnamon chocolate Dream powder. It's supposed to be for sleep, but my student has it in the morning to keep him calm, and sometimes again at night if he needs it. One of my favorite ingredients in the powder is GABA, 100 mg per scoop. Great for offsetting processed foods and the restlessness they can cause. Beam has many different formulas, some with melatonin and some with CBD, and many different flavors. It's pricey, but it's a guaranteed meal and calming agent for my student, and those are as valuable as gold.
  • 3-4 oz of dairy or nondairy milk. Just enough to produce a pudding like consistency.

Blend, transfer to a bowl and freeze for 10-15 minutes. Ours is light and creamy, so delicious.

Enjoy!
